Consultant/Contractor for various clients in Central/Northern

Kentucky and the Cincinnati Ohio area.  Completed

assignments in the construction, manufacturing, health care

and data processing industries.  Recently relocated to

Minnesota.   

 

1990 – 1995              James N. Gray Company

Lexington, KY

AS/400 System Administrator

Sole support/maintenance for IBM AS/400.  Responsibilities

included programming, operations, technical support, disaster recovery, PC connectivity, and capacity planning.

Reason for leaving: wished to start my own business.

 

1981 – 1990              Fruit of the Loom, Inc.

Bowling Green, KY

Last position held was Systems Analyst.  Duties included

programming on an IBM Sys/34, IBM Sys/36, as well as

an Amdahl mainframe.  Heavily involved in Order Processing

and Shipment Management, which also involved extensive

travel to manufacturing plants for software/hardware

installation and user training.

Reason for leaving: opportunity for greater experience with

AS/400.
